For Vernee, the Apollo Series is special because its flagship device is named like that. The Vernee Apollo, the first VR-ready Mediatek device. For that reason, the first model in 2017 will be Apollo X. As stated in previous leaked information, the X is intended to become a Redmi Note 4 killer.

With a launch date in February, it will offer Helio X20 power and Android 7.0 to the budget category. Vernee wants it to be the world’s 1st 10-core device to receive Android 7.0 so there should be no delays in its release.

The Apollo X will be released this month and will be the first to launch with VOS (Vernee Operating System). VOS is said to be very close to stock android but will definitely come with some new features Vernee thinks is necessary to enhance users' experience. VOS will also be available to all existing Vernee phone but the decision to use it will boil down to you.

The Apollo X is a special edition of Vernee’s Apollo series and will launch with a Helio X20 processor. The Helio X20 might be a chip from last year but it has proved that it can hold its own when it comes to performance and power consumption. The processor has ten cores arranged in a tri-cluster framework: 2 x Cortex-A72 clocked at between 2.1GHz to 2.3GHz; 4 x Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.85GHz; and 4 x Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.4GHz.

  1. The Vernee Apollo X is actually quite a compelling smartphone in terms of specs. It comes with a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) IGZO display, which is made by Sharp, while the phone also packs in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). The phone is fueled by the Helio X20 64-bit deca-core processor, and a 3,500mAh battery is also included in this package, and it is not removable. Speaking of which, MediaTek’s Pump Express quick charging tech is also a part of this package, you’re getting 9V/2A (18W) fast charging here, which will charge up this phone in no time. The phone’s fingerprint scanner unlocks the device in 0.1 seconds, says Vernee, and this handset is equipped with two SIM card slots, one of which you can use in order to expand the Vernee Apollo X’s internal storage.

TIPS TO KNOW IF THE PHONE CAN WORK WITH NETWORK FREQUENCY OF YOUR COUNTRY

TIPS TO KNOW IF THE PHONE CAN WORK WITH NETWORK FREQUENCY OF YOUR COUNTRY

As we know, there are many different network frequencies in the world. Even in the same country, frequency of different carrier will be different. And most of our phones are unlocked on our website.
Here is the guide to check that if network bands of the smartphone which you’re going to buy match your country and your carrier.
There’re two ways for you to check the network coverage.

Method 1.
(a) Go to this website http://www.willmyphonework.net/ before you order.
(b) On this site, you can you can see brand and country box. Select the brand of the phone you’re going to buy. Then phone model box will come up and please select the right model.

(c) Some smartphones will have different sub model. If the sub model box comes up, you can select the
right one or just select “ALL” if it doesn’t have sub model.

(d) Select the country/area which you will use the phone. For example, choose United Kingdom.

(e) You will see Carriers list in the next box. Find your network carrier or provider.

(f)Click “Search”. The network result will come up. It will tell you if the phone will be compatible with 2G,3G,4G networks of this carrier in your country. Also you will see the network bands in this page. You can take this result as reference.

Method 2
Sometimes we haven’t found the phone model in the Method 1 page. Here is another way to check whether a specific smartphone can be used in your country.

(a) You should find the network frequencies of the phone on the product page. For example:
(b) Next you should confirm if your country supports the network frequencies that were listed in the page of the phone you’re going to buy.
You can confirm this by visiting the following website:
On this site you can see the search box on the Top:

(c) Type in your country/area in the first field and select your network carrier in the second field. For example, when we choose United Kingdom:

(d) We will get a list of carriers, for this example we will select: Telefónica UK Limited (O2 (UK)) with 3G 2100. This will display its network coverage and the network information.
The coverage map and more information can be found below:

(e) Besides the above steps, you can directly go to the homepage of this website:
Just quickly select your country on the bottom the page. It will show all the network frequencies which are supported by different carriers in your country.

(f) Now you can compare the bands of the phone you’re going to order with the network frequencies and coverage in your country or area to see if they are matched.
The two methods above will help you solve most doubts about the network frequencies. If you still cannot find the answer, please contact to your local carrier to make sure if this phone is compatible with their communication frequencies. Enjoy!
